LUNGOFIUME

LUNGOFIUME is a research project on the Valmarecchia landscape and its homonymous river "Marecchia", located in the province of Rimini, Italy. To meet the idea of a place means to find the traces of suggestions in the images taken, not in the places photographed. The transfer that happens in the author leads from the outside to the inside: looking out to feel in, there where everything you see mixes and drops off, in order to build a new image which is not just landscape, but goes from architecture to the people met. The purpose of the project is not to picture the characteristics of a territory, the Valmarecchia, neither to catch its striking aspects or peculiarities, rather to be brave and to take place at the edges of the landscape framed and to focus instead on the context it comes from.
