As the Bison's identity evolved into its final form, we eagerly entered the next phase: activating this vibrant summer baseball brand into the wild. The Gem City Bison, a college team based in Laramie, WY—a town infused with untamed Wild West spirit and historic significance—finds its home. Collaborating closely with the owners, we delved into the hearts of baseball fans, families, students, partners, and players. With a strong focus on cultivating lively summer vibes, we expertly brought this brand to life, ensuring that its energy resonates passionately throughout the ballpark and beyond.





BRAND ACTIVATION // PHOTOGRAPHY
Elevating the Visuals
Merchandise revenue plays a pivotal role for sports teams, and our objective was to amplify it through impactful imagery. Our initial photoshoots had a dual purpose: capturing merchandise assets for social media promotion and website communication. We meticulously crafted a clear photo direction that guided our photographers in terms of composition, shot types, prop inclusion, model posing, lighting techniques, and suitable locations to align with our brand vision. On the shoot day, we took charge to ensure comprehensive asset capture. Every detail was meticulously attended to, thoughtfully capturing angles, smiles, and gear. This strategic approach heightened professionalism and effective brand communication, successfully transforming merchandise into a robust revenue stream that nurtured and strengthened our team's identity.





Blending Brand and Imagery
As soon as the photos landed in our possession, we swiftly turned our attention to seamlessly blending the brand's identity and strategies with the captured imagery. Our aim was to skillfully showcase the vibrant lifestyle encompassed by the Bison brand and give the brand a professional look that elevates and brings more value to the brand itself.

End-of-Season Sale: Making Every Day Count
As the final innings of the 2022 season came to an end, we bid farewell to summer's embrace. Leveraging the imagery we had at hand, we ingeniously repurposed them to spearhead an end-of-season sale. Employing a strategic blend of social media and email campaigns, we orchestrated a dynamic activation that efficiently cleared the 2022 inventory, creating a clear path for the anticipated 2023 season.

In the quest to elevate on-field prowess, underscoring the achievements of the previous season served a dual purpose: not only did it entice top-tier talent to join the Bison Herd, but it also illuminated the positive impact of the team on the community. This opportunity flourished at the crossroads of our connection to the team, our profound local insights, my background as a college baseball player, and our extensive experience in professional sports. These factors harmonized, paving the way for us to take the helm and steer the course as owners and operators of the Gem City Bison.

Leveraging our extensive background, we wholeheartedly embraced this transformative journey. We spearheaded ideation, negotiations, city collaborations, and, notably, creative and marketing endeavors. This immersive experience granted us an intimate understanding of the intricacies within the summer baseball landscape, effectively merging business acumen with creative innovation for a resounding impact.

As operators, this journey not only enriched us but also empowers us to share these insights. Witnessing firsthand how creative prowess augments a brand's business potential, we firmly believe in the potency of this synergy.
