Video thumbnails created for my own YouTube channel, centered around racing video games. I followed a minimalist style, focusing on a "top" element first, such as a piece of text, icon or logo. Under it, I would insert artwork from said game or topic and add layers of stock graphics or different wallpapers I had lying around to create lighting effects by blending layers in various ways. With one central focus on top, and aesthetically pleasing artwork on the bottom, these thumbnails stand out from the rest on YouTube. The emphasis on a white focus point with colorful background can be seen in a lot of my designs.
