Telstra Sustainability Report

In the journey of every graphic designer, there's a pivotal moment of growth: the initiation into managing a demanding corporate project with tight deadlines, all while adhering meticulously to a set of unwavering brand guidelines.
This pivotal project was undertaken during my tenure at Raft Studio for Telstra. Annually, Telstra crafted a comprehensive report detailing their sustainability endeavors for stakeholders. This particular year posed a unique challenge due to an ongoing rebranding process that had yet to be finalized. Nevertheless, the show had to go on, and we navigated through the uncertainty with determination.
Regular updates were requested each year to infuse the document with engaging elements, but the true test lay in upholding Telstra's rigid brand guidelines. Amidst the evolving nature of the rebrand, we received fragmentary insights into the new brand identity, compelling us to adapt the document on the fly. The workflow became intense, grappling with iterative text changes, updates, and swiftly devising streamlined processes in the midst of it all.
This project demanded extra hours and unwavering commitment, yet we managed to deliver within the designated timeframe, leaving the client immensely satisfied with our punctuality and dedication. Given that this project consumed my focus for an uninterrupted two-week span, it often found its way into my dreams, a testament to its significance. The experience instilled a profound lesson in persistence – pushing forward despite looming deadlines and seemingly insurmountable workloads.
