しかし日本の「国獣」はまだ決まっていないようです。
世界には固有種、絶滅危惧種、国旗、国章に描かれている、伝説の動物など、その国に由来するさまざまな「国獣」 が溢れています。
魅力的な国獣と、色とりどりの国旗のカラーを組み合わせた「国獣作品」を通して、各国の固有種や絶滅危惧種の動物たちを少しでもご紹介できればと思っています。
長崎県美術館 運河ギャラリーで行われた「国獣展2023 in Nagasaki」ではアクリルペイント11作品とバナー28作品の展示の他、「国獣投票」 や「国獣トリビア」、大人向けのワークショップも行いました。
The ’KOKUJU PROJECT’ was created with the motifs of national animals and national flags.
A National Animal is the symbolic animal that represents its own country.
It is called that because "KOKUJU" means "national animal" in Japanese.
There is no clear definition of a national animal and it varies worldwide.
The purpose of KOKOJU PROJECT is to promote countries and their endemic and endangered animal species.
There are 11 acrylic paintings and 28 banners at the exhibition.
