Labyrinth of Life

This is a large (over A2 size) digital print and painting I did for an artshow in 2013. It is entitled "Labyrinth of Life" - the idea being that we are all navigators in the complex maze of life and self-identity. Rather than doing an artist statement, I integrated it into the "Captain's Log". Spot the Star Trek and Dragonball references!
The three pieces.
As they were actually displayed.
The maze itself and several other elements were created in Illustrator, whilst I painted the background in Photoshop. No photos or references were used.
The Captain's Log and self portrait.
Better look at the self portrait.
Closer look at the maze. It was a very, very large file.
