The client is a mussel grower, seafood market and distributer on Australia's NSW South Coast, also hand-preparing niche, fresh seafood products for rapid shipping to boutique supermarkets in nearby major city Sydney.
These mornay and Kilpatrick style oysters are hand-assembled, packed in indented foil trays and then snap frozen, so customers can take the tray straight from the freezer to a hot grill. I developed carton artwork which needed to clearly explain the product to customers, convey a premium feel and also comply with supermarket requirements.

The Jervis Bay Shellfish Co brand was developed to sit within the Shellfish Market brand look and feel, and I added grunge texture transitions on the pack to echo gritty texture in the logo, and used product colour differentiation from within the brand palette. I also had the opportunity to work closely with the photographer to ensure product images were composed to suit the pack design, and that colour reproduction was accurate and appetising.
