What is our relationship to images?
This project started out as an edit of footage I took over
the previous summer. The more I scanned each clip I began
to realize my fascination with the power of stock imagery,
the strange disgust and appeal of ubiquituos images.
Utilizing Google's massive image data bank, I plugged
in frames from my footage into Google Image Upload.
Creating an unconventional conversation between the
internal memory of my camera and the selective image pairing
capabilities of a Google algorithm. Resulting in a strange,
inter-personal, and largely alien dialogue.
