Chop Suey - Collaborative Zine

The Chop Suey nature of commercial street signage.

Chop Suey: /chop sooi/;
“The dish ‘chop suey’ (derived from Cantonese ‘tsap sui” meaning ‘mixed pieces’) was a Chinese-American invention tailored to the American palate while retaining the appearance of being Chinese.”

Created using screenprint, Chop Suey is a collaborative zine, created from screenprinted, juxtaposed designs of street signage. My contribution was created with photography from my trip to Berlin in February. Photo's seen are all of my pages within the zine. The zine is bound using 5 stitch binding, and features a plastic, double-sided cover. It also contains a 8-page a5 article on the feature.
