WEEK 9
For my Filmic Assessment idea, I was very inspired by post-apocalyptic settings, mainly ones that focus more on the nature growing through cities, buildings, roads, etc. So to decide what I wanted the scene to look like, I have mainly used AI to create references for my maya scene. Mainly focused on an abandoned subway tunnel taken over by nature.

WEEK 10
After feedback was suggested to push away from the post-apocalyptic atmosphere and focus on something different. So the first thing that came to mind was a Paris themed medieval village.

WEEK 11
This picture I was very inspired, to continue with the medieval village setting. The contrast and distance of the castle in the picture help me have an idea of what I want to create.
WEEK 12
I have downloaded the building assets from KitBash and used a starry background to use as an experimental image.
After using another background to give the warm lighting from the original picture. I added extra lighting in the lamps to give further lighting.
The gravel was difficult to convey as the texture would not show up in the render view. However I was able to manage and experimented on other gravel stones (stone) texture to sell out the advanced medieval kingdom town. I have also experimented on a lot of warm lighting to fit with the bright lights of the town in the dark starry night to contrast the warm and cold colours with dark and brightness.
Using photoshop I have created my image with the lighting that i was looking for.
