REFINEMENT
Creating a cover plate for Axor was a thrilling first-time experience for me, working with a company. I was excited and filled with creative ideas when I started. The 3D pattern design was tricky but fascinating. I faced difficulties in shaping it just the way I wanted.
The project also introduced me to slip casting, which was entirely new. I had to learn how to make a master 3D pattern for slip casting and faced challenges, like getting it out of the mold. I discovered that using pressurized air could help in this situation.
This project gave me a new perspective on making products. It's not only about the design but also about understanding the production process, solving problems, and finding innovative solutions. It was a great learning experience, and I now have a better understanding of the complexities involved in bringing an idea to life in the industry. I'm looking forward to more exciting projects and the chance to grow as a designer and creator.
