TheDoctorShop is a 100% custom built using a proprietary CMS (ShopMedX) built by Intrepid Network in PHP using a MySQL database. One of three storefronts aimed to make ordering non-perscription medical goods easier for patients. This website is basically a storefront that allows a patient to search for their physician and order products online.
There are several pieces of logic built to ensure the patient is aware that this website is an extension of their physicians office. This logic is a necessary legal requirement. All products are selected by an individual physician or practice and are entered through a backend content management system. All transactions are processed by custom logic.
Physicians and company executive have access to detailed reports. This allows for more accurate decision making and the overall improvement of the program to be based on statistical data.
