Logo for the Kiwanis Club of Patchogue, a charitable organization based in the heart of Long Island's South Shore. I admittedly struggled with the concept for this logo.
Too generic
Wrong style. I needed to capture the professionalism and trustworthy nature of the club.
Getting closer, but I felt this was too generic also. Very safe and "run of the mill"
I did some research to find what was representative of Patchogue. It is a small town on the shore, known for beaches, marinas, and boats. I stumbled on these two icons and wanted to combine them into a unique graphic.
Here is the final logo. It's representative of the town and the club.
