A exposição aborda a tradição da navegação à vela no bairro de Jardim Manguinhos, na foz do Rio Paraíba do Norte, apresentando sua importância para a manutenção da cultura material e imaterial da cidade.
A exposição de Ocione Fernandes é um testemunho em preto e branco, com um toque de esperança colorida: as velas. Entre tons de passado e presente, as velas permanecem como o último sopro de uma cultura que luta para não desvanecer a fim de que não se perca o processo histórico de formação da identidade cabedelense.

The exhibition addresses the tradition of sailing in the neighborhood of Jardim Manguinhos, at the mouth of the Rio Paraíba do Norte, presenting its importance for the preservation of the city's material and immaterial culture.
Ocione Fernandes's exhibition is a testimony in black and white, with a touch of colorful hope: the sails. Amidst shades of the past and present, the sails remain as the last breath of a culture that struggles not to fade away, so that the historical process of forming the identity of Cabedelo is not lost.
