NUBIA SUBMERGED MUSEUM
LOCATION : NUBIA ( ASWAN - EGYPT )
DESIGN CONCEPT : THE NUBIA SUBMERGED MUSEUM TELLS STORIES OF THE NUBIAN FAMILIES AND THEIR SUFFERING DURING THE migration WHICH TOOK PLACE IN FOUR STAGES, FROM THE FIRST ASWAN RESERVOIR THEN THE TWO RAMPS AFTER IT, AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HIGH DAM.
Through a LOOP in the shape of the heights of the NubIa Mountains divided into four levels representing the four stages of the migration SURROUNDING an epoxy FLOOR representing the Nile and its sunken boats, the visitor during the visit goes through stories and tales of the Nubian migrants during the migration with the increase in the slope of the floor whenever the visitor finishes from one stage of migration to another Until the visitor finishes the LOOP and enters an environment in which there is a film documenting the actual events of the migration
