Figurina and perennial childhood is a research project that seeks to define the origins of this medium and its intrinsic characteristics. Inside, we retrace what was the use of the image within a vast cultural field which, starting from the first pedagogical treatises, moves on to other more or less similar fields; from modern printing techniques, to the history of famous publishing houses and their commercial strategies, to finally arrive at what the sticker market is today.
A historical journey that in a certain sense seems to retrace its own steps, bringing the figure of the noble passionate about exotic prints to the same level as the boy who collects Pokemon cards.
