Created the sermon series graphics and bumper videos for FBC Magnolia's Empty Promises series. Videos created thanks to the help of some friends.
The guys over at FBC Magnolia came up with the idea to use an empty box and a fortune cookie to protray their new sermon series main idea, which is Your new nature is not satisfied by old lies. They called me up and I got started on creating some graphics. I used two images from freeimages.com (the fortune cookie and box).
After making the graphics I got started on making the video by calling up two good friends of mine, Alex Lanoux and Justis Martinez. We imediately began brain storming on ideas for the video and locations based off of Justis' experience in Belton, TX. Alex Lanoux started working on some ambiant sounds in Ableton Live. Within a couple of days we had the shoot planned out and the voice over written up with the help of a friend, Mike Perry.
The location was an old house off of Pearl Street on the campus of Mary Hardin Baylor. It was the perfect set for the tone we were going for and relevance to the topic. Thanks to the help of Justis' father, head of facilities at UMHB, we were able to get in.
Editing was done similar to my Dominic Rosato Triathlete Video due to the need of rendering for triplewide (three SD projectors side by side).
After recording the voice over, Alex Lanoux took the recording and mixed everything in (worked great because he was able to adjust instruments within the ambiance he created to fit the vocals).
Every week till the series is over, the video will have a different voice over.
