Assistive devices
Low cost assistive device product family
Problem
People with dissabilities usually can’t afford assistive devices to help them control electronic devices due to the high cost and low availability of these products.
Solution
Develop a low cost assistive device product family, to cover most of the day to day activities done on electronic devices.

Fully produced with low scale production methods such as 3d printing and laser cutting. Standard electronic components and Arduino boards make them fully customizable to each patient's need.
Giromouse
Giromouse is an assistive device designed to help people with limited motor skills in upper limbs be able to use their every day electronic
devices.
Developed to work s a regular computer mouse but with a clever twist; Giromouse sits comfortably on the user's head and is controlled purely by head movements and facial gestures, such as winking or raising the eyebrows.
Scroll
The Scroll device allows patients with limited upper limb movement to scroll and navigate the computer screen vertically. It can be used together with other devices from the ecosystem. For computers, smartphones and tablets.
Prex
Prex allows patients with limited upper limb movement to do the left click function using the palm of their hand, fingers in extension and even their feet. To be used on computers, smartphones or other products of this family. It’s also used in ICUs to call for nursery or medical attention.
Speech aid
This device helps people who can’t speak communicate with others through pre-recorded sentences or words, such as “yes” or “no”. Its activated through any prex or giromouse action, and is programmed acording to the patient’s need.
