Self-Portrait Midterm and Final, October and December 2021

Medium: Charcoal

These two self-portraits were made my freshman year of college, in my first illustration drawing class. For the first one, we had to make a 'spooky portrait' with a prop of our choosing, then recreate it with charcoal. For the second one, the final, we had to take a photo with many objects that we used in class throughout the year. Each of these were very time consuming but were so much fun to work hard on and capture every detail possible in order to recreate the photos as realistically as possible.
