I recently bought new shoes and since I'm trying to get more into product photography, I decided to use them for my next project. I propped up one of the shoes on a stack of books in my room. I placed a diffused light on the shoe. Then, I set my camera on a tripod. I took several photos of the shoe in the same location with different lighting. In Photoshop, I merged the different shots of the shoe, making it look like I used multiple lights. Since the shoe is plain but pops, I searched for a sans serif font that matched its boldness. The font I chose is Dharma Gothic. I stole the text and shoe information from the Reebok website.
