Bubble Car
KNITTING PATTERN DESIGN BY AMANDA BERRY

This knitted Bubble Car is a cute toy for playtime.  You could even add a toy squeaker inside the car when stuffing for extra “beep beep” fun.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the car is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).  The car is knitted in one piece to cut down on seaming, and the wheels and bumpers are knitted separately and sewn on.  For colour-work you will need to knit stripes (change colour at the end of a row), and the window struts are embroidered after knitting.  This pattern incorporates short rows (wrap and turn) to shape the car.
