Abbey Church Rebranding

Creation of a new brand identity for Abbey Presbyterian Church, Parnell Square, Dublin.

I undertook the project in the last year of my visual communication undergrad. I made the doors out of paper and photographed them. Each one represents a different area of the church's work in the community. All of them are slightly ajar with light pouring from the inside. I took inspiration from Matthew 7:7 'Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

I used a custom letter 'f' for the principal mark as the church is commonly referred to as Findlater's Church after the man who founded it. This letter also represents the architecture of the building itself with a rose window in the centre of a gothic arch.

For more detail of the mark and colour scheme you can visit this project on my site.
