“Every time I view the sea, I feel a calming sense of security, as if visiting my ancestral home. I embark on a voyage of seeing.”
~ Hiroshi Sugimoto
Inspired by Japanese photographer, Hiroshi Sugimoto's "Seascapes".
The sea, is not only a treasure trove for fresh seafood, it also plays an important part in Japan’s culture, history, society, art, and identity.
Embark on a visual and sensory journey through a coastal cave and finally a calming view of the sea.

Upon entering the restaurant, guests will be greeted by a bar and lounge area with Japanese inspired furniture that are set against a raw yet refined interior, layered with sources of dramatic light penetrating the space, mimicking skylights in caves. The private dining room is refined and intimate, donned in raw textured walls with soft edges paired with a feature pendant lamp inspired from sand casting. Lastly, enter the main dining room with a view of the calm sea. The use of rippled effect steel on the ceiling, creating interesting reflections and movements from the environment and the people in the space.
