The growth of the global cruising industry provides the Philippines the opportunity to develop economic productivity and promote the culture and arts through the international sea transportation terminal, hence the project aims to design and international cruise port terminal that integrate tourism, business and public transportation, stipulating the growth of the local economy. KUL-TOUR-A serves as a gateway of the city and its culture to the local and international tourists and is anchored towards featuring highly Filipino culture, arts, and design through architecture that gives importance to unique user's experience and journey. The concept "gateway" is also geared towards the reconnection of the cityscape to our sea, maximizing its majesty and beauty that is worth sharing to all the people around the world.
