In 1994, Nas released "Illmatic." For me, the album is the epitome of 90s hip-hop music and culture. This typography is inspired by the opening song titled "N.Y. State of Mind."
I decided to pay homage to that era and locale by using typography and curating a Spotify playlist (mixtape) of some of my favourite songs that formed the soundtrack of my teenage years.
