The Nibi Water Walk is a project lead by several women, primarily Ojibwe women, to bring attention to our sacred waters and the ways that they are endangered. In this work, I helped Nibi Walk expand their identity beyond the first walk they did on the Mississippi River, as they prepared to traverse the Ohio River. It is an amazing and inspiring project.
