With its extraordinary shape the "Shell" is functional, stable and an eye-catcher at once. The horitontal tabletop artfully bends into two vertical "legs" so the whole design basically consist of one continuous wooden sheet. To create such shapes you can CNC-slice plywood sheets on one side at a certain angle - this pieces then will automaticall create such bent and twisted shapes as you can see here in this design. This piece not only works as a storage piece of furniture but also could function as a bench or stool.
