A Midsummer Night's Dream

It is impossible to argue with the fact that Shakespeare is an amazing author. The text of Shakespeare's comedy is multifaceted, mocking, filled with references, and the meanings in it can be searched endlessly... That's exactly what I did, but in a form unusual for the art of the book. Instead of text comments, I use emoji.
Throughout time, critics have pointed out that A Midsummer Night's Dream was written as if it were not for the stage, that it was almost impossible to stage it fully. To smooth out this point was my first task.
The second one I came up with myself: I wanted to give the author's interpretation of the text, to supplement it with my own meanings.

Emoji fulfill two functions in the book. The first one is additional illustration of the text, filling it with visuality by typographic method. The second is to convey my vision of the text, emphasizing different details.
