Gullstén-Inkinen Design & Architecture's profile

Burger King, Mannerheimintie, Helsinki Finland

Year of Completion: 2013
Area: 470 sq.m

Gullstén & Inkinen Design & Architecture designed the interiors of the first Burger King Restaurant that opened in late 2013. The chain had previously operated in Finland almost 20 years ago. The restaurant is located right in the city centre of Helsinki. The interior design is based on the restaurant chain’s new concept that GI implemented. Gullstén-Inkinen added a touch of locality by restoring the original and beautiful wall in the building. The new concept has a Scandinavian feel where the main material is wood.

The project was carried out in close cooperation with the Burger King Brand team. Gullstén-Inkinen is also involved in the interior design of the restaurant's flagship restaurant in the historical and listed Central Railway station building.
