San Diego Hawks is a fictional sports team created for the San Diego State University Graphic Design Studio class. With the ability to create whatever I wanted, I decided to create the brand and identity for a San Diego based ice hockey team.
In regards to the primary mark, the hawk is a bird featured in San Diego and is known to prey on its victims, something I admired and felt would translate well into a hockey team. The colors were chosen as they represent the San Diego culture.
