Ce devoir devait être préparé comme un projet professionnel.
La consigne étant d'illustrer une comptine pour enfant pour travailler avec une maison d'édition sur un ouvrage jeunesse, avec d'abord deux avant projet puis une illustration finale accompagné d'une note d'intention.
Le public visé pour ce livre sont des enfants entre 2 à 5 ans. L'illustration tiens sur une double page de 17x34cm.

This work was meant to be prepared as a professional project.
The task was to illustrate a french nursery rhyme to collaborate with a publishing house on a children's book, starting with two preliminary designs and then a final illustration and a note explaining the process.
The target audience for this book is children aged 2 to 5 years old. The illustration had to fit on a double-page spread measuring 17x34cm.

FR : L'illustration finale est ici accessible par sa simplicité après la phase d'éveil des enfants. L'univers étant joyeux, fleuri et coloré, la composition est quand à elle constituée d'éléments simples avec des formes arrondies
rappelant la forme ronde des points.
La palette choisie est composée de tons vifs pour attirer l'œil de l'enfant et ainsi susciter sa curiosité. J'ai souhaité mettre aussi en avant l'aspect ludique de l'illustration, le but étant de pouvoir chercher l'ensemble des coccinelles sur la double page. Cet approche amusante permet encore une fois aux tout petits de s'intéresser d'avantage à l'œuvre et d'y participer aussi pleinement !
EN : The final illustration is easy to understand here through its simplicity after the children's awakening phase. The universe is joyful, floral, and colorful, while the composition consists of simple elements with rounded shapes reminiscent of the ladybug's round form.
The chosen color palette is composed of vibrant tones to attract the child's eye and arouse curiosity.
I also wanted to highlight the playful aspect of the illustration, with the aim of allowing children to search for all the ladybugs on the double-page spread. This amusing approach once again encourages young children to take a greater interest in the artwork and participate fully in it !
