O Hotel Fazenda Vilarejo é um refúgio natural situado em Conservatória, Rio de Janeiro, que teve início em 1982. Desde então, a família de Sr. João e D. Lili sempre teve como propósito não apenas vender hospedagem, mas compartilhar de experiências memoráveis com seus visitantes. Em comemoração ao seu 40º aniversário em 2022, decidiu-se criar um livro que registrasse toda a trajetória percorrida para tornar esse sonho, que parecia impossível, em uma realidade. Esse foi o ponto de partida que inspirou nossa estratégia criativa, buscando transmitir o sentimento de união familiar e apreço pela natureza que compõem os valores e cultura do Hotel.

The Hotel Fazenda Vilarejo is a natural retreat located in Conservatória, Rio de Janeiro, which began in 1982. Since then, the family of

Mr. João and Mrs. Lili has always had the purpose of not only selling accommodation but also sharing memorable experiences with their guests. To commemorate its 40th anniversary in 2022, they decided to create a book that would document the journey taken to turn this seemingly impossible dream into a reality. This was the starting point that inspired our creative strategy, aiming to convey the feelings of family unity and appreciation for nature that constitute the values and culture of the hotel.

Para retratar a atmosfera encantadora, criamos ilustrações originais inspiradas na fauna e flora da região, utilizando cores alegres que geram contraste com as fotografias em tom sépia. A diagramação cuidadosa, seguindo uma estrutura de grid coesa, valoriza as fotografias e destaca momentos-chave na narrativa escrita pela própria família, criando uma dinâmica de leitura envolvente. Além disso, a tipografia personalizada para o título completa a linguagem visual com impacto, reforçando o caráter tropical e moderno. Esse projeto eterniza não apenas a história, mas também as pessoas que perseveraram com determinação e amor para construir e levar adiante o legado encantador que é o Hotel Vilarejo.

To portray the enchanting atmosphere, we created original illustrations inspired by the local fauna and flora, using joyful colors that contrast with the sepia-toned photographs. The careful layout, following a cohesive grid framework, enhances the photographs and highlights key moments in the narrative written by the family themselves, creating an engaging reading experience. Additionally, the custom typography for the title ties everything together with impact, reinforcing the tropical and modern character. This project immortalizes not only the history but also the people who persevered with determination and love to build and carry forward the charming legacy that is Hotel Vilarejo.
