Agrumato is a free retro inspired sans serif font from creator Consuelo Bonfà.
Why Agrumato (Citrus)?
I chose this name because I wanted it to be linked to the reason that inspired the project. It fits because the goal is to try to communicate a sense of energy, liveliness and freshness.
The decision is also based on the visual and sensory association that citrus fruits evoke: if I pick up an orange, a bergamot, a citron, the first sensations that come to mind are "is heavy"; "has no corners'"; "it's bold"!
