The OGQMOCA* is an urban accessories concept store representing brands and emerging creative fashion designers and stylists, that emerged inside an existing space called Pedro Remy hairdresser and cultural space.
This project consists of a continuous wall, which can be divided into five independent modules with proper and distinctive features, ocupying and having variable settings of installations inside the space.
This set of 5 modules comprise a dressing room and 4 exhibitor cabinets and are built with re-used doors from the former building, that once housed the GNR headquarters.
The single features of this Pop Up Store enable these modules to work not only as exhibitor cabinets, but also as sculptures. When they are gathered and enclosed, aligned or scattered they seem to be a sculpture door in the cultural room.
Due to the possibility to be moved from one space to another they can organize the store, reorganize the space, create new contexts and dialogue with the client’s needs. The possibility to adapt and customize the space is as simple as the programme needed.
Dimensions of the project: 5,5mL X 1,1mW X 2,0m H
Completion date: December 2013
