Nova Lituania is a 2019 Lithuanian drama film directed by Karolis Kaupinis. The film was inspired by a real-life Lithuanian interwar political theorist Kazys Pakštas and his works on Dausuva.
The title sequence draws inspiration from the movie building upon it's ideas by creating a micro-story from the perspective of a stranger seeing what's to come. The slides change from paintings showing hunting dogs to art-deco stile works depicting exotic sights. The fonts change as the story unfolds indicating the shift in the character himself.
This is a study fan project filmed in LSMU facilities.
