Gayer Anderson Mueseum

Gayer Anderson Museum consists of two houses, the first house was built by the scholar Abd al-Qadir al-Hadad in1545 AD, the second house belonged to Hajj Muhammad ibn Salem ibn Jilmam al-Jazar in1631 AD, Anderson lived in the house and filled them with antiquities and was turned into a museum in this name after he left Egypt in 1942, It is located beside the Mosque of Ahmad ibn Tulun in the Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood.
