Lauren's project focuses on air pollution in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Working with the environmental justice organization Greenaction, she created an informational documentary to raise awareness and empower the community. The documentary showcases air pollution hotspots, their impact on vulnerable individuals, and actionable steps to combat the issue. Lauren gathered extensive air quality data, conducted field studies, and interviewed community members to create impactful content. The documentary, accompanied by a written report, sparked discourse among community members and leaders, inspiring tangible actions. Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Media Encoder were used to edit the video and images, ensuring high-quality production for increased accessibility and understanding.
