Inspired by the remarkable properties of DNA and the groundbreaking research conducted by scientists like George Church, I created an artwork video that metaphorically explores the AGCT code's potential as a storage medium. DNA, with its four nucleotides (adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine), carries the genetic information that defines living organisms. However, recent advancements have shown that DNA can also serve as a data storage system, capable of storing vast amounts of information in a compact and durable manner.

George Church, a prominent geneticist and pioneer in synthetic biology, has been at the forefront of research into DNA-based data storage. His studies have demonstrated the incredible density and longevity of DNA as a storage medium, surpassing traditional methods like hard disks and magnetic tapes. Inspired by his work, I wanted to explore the concept of DNA as a metaphorical hard disk, capable of storing not only genetic information but also the essence of our ideas and creations.

In my artwork video, I aim to convey the idea that our ideas and creations can be preserved and encoded within the AGCT tapestry, akin to how information is stored in a hard disk.
