Atoms are made up of electrons, protons and neutrons, and the latter two are made of quarks. Until a few years ago, physicists thought there were only two quarks, called “up” and “down”; then, as the years passed and large particle accelerators came into operation, it was discovered that the family is larger.
The installation is intended to represent the Quark particle theory present in the masquerade ball in “Alice in Quantumland.”
Such particles are always bound together and are contained within a
single particle, they exchange colors but still re- main one red, one green and one blue.
The installation aims to represent the theory of Quark particles. These particles are always linked to each other and are contained within a single particle and exchange color, always remaining one red, one green and one blue. Three led strips on three rigid supports inclined in opposite directions to each other thus underline this exchange of colors.
