Off-Target Prompt Results II

While working on my project to create art nouveau depictions of the Transformers (see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here), some of my prompts to Stable Diffusion didn't produce an image in the style that I wanted. But they still produced something interesting. These off-target prompts can be grouped into seven categories, with some overlap.

Extras
The drawings in this first batch look like regular transformers, but they weren't quite what I was looking for or I accidentally garbled the prompt but still liked what I got.

Feminine
During the first wave of Transformers, there was only one female character (Arcee, 1986 Autobots). But Stable Diffusion gave me several female Transformers, probably influenced by the art nouveau corpus that it was trained on.

Missing Limbs
Sometimes Stable Diffusion drew Transformers that looked perfectly fine—except for one minor detail: they were missing one or more limbs. Now it's technically possible for a Transformer to lose a limb (see the 1986 episode, "City of Steel", where Optimus Prime temporarily loses an arm). However, this is not the standard form of any of the Transformers that I sought to depict.

Heads
Sometimes Stable Diffusion drew just the head. Or, even stranger, it drew a weird hybrid of a full transformer and the head of the Transformer. Since I wanted a full shot of the Transformers, these were set aside.

Hybrids
There were cases where the output from Stable Fusion looked like a Transformer that got stuck halfway between its robot form and its alternate form. But looking wrong didn't always mean that the image was worth discarding.

Weird Heads
Sometimes Stable Diffusion drew Transformers that looked pretty good except that there was something off about the head. But despite not looking quite like a Transformer, they still looked kind of interesting.

Alternate Forms
Finally, there were many cases where Stable Diffusion drew the alternate form of the Transformer instead of the robot form. But I wanted the robot form, so I kept trying until I got what I wanted.

These illustrations were drawn using Stable Diffusion 2.1.
