A collaboration between Rachel Knight, Isaac Minogue, Catherine Downs, Adam Ben-Dror & Oscar Pipson. We were selected to represent our universities (Massey, AUT, Victoria) and design the campaign and awards evening for the 2014 Best Design Awards.
Concept:
After analysing what the Best Design Awards means to the New Zealand Design Community, we came up the concept of 'The Search for the Perfect Purple', where purple represented the hunger designers have to improve and push the boundaries. We then looked to other kooky hobbyists to show that everyone has their own Search for the Perfect Purple.
