The Narrow boat restoration took place in Nottingham 2020 just at the time of the pandemic. I took an old boat from the 1970s with an interesting shape and hull and refurbished it with the help of number of people. The steel was cut, welded and replaced. New window light boxes and a new rear deck was designed. The interior fit-out was completely my own work using Siberian larch throughout and stainless steel. 

The design was paired back for a simplistic nautical working boat feel, with a bunk, a galley and a living quarters. The engine was a restored Lister SR3 and the injectors were pulled and re-done. Jim 'The Goat' helped on a number of projects as did the local community in the area.
