In spring-Summer 2023, I collaborated with Estudio Niksen on a capsule collection that composed of exclusive t-shirt designs, a woven blanket, sticker sets, a postcard and a poster.
This is the process of designing the woven blanket. Which will be back in stock (on a very limited quantity) in the next few days.
I hope you enjoy seeing the creation process as much as I loved doing it.
Firstly, I worked on a sketch for all the characters. Also taking care of the composition of the blanket and deciding that, this time, I was going to work on an horizontal one instead of vertical.
Since my intention was to leave the line work visible, I got my iPad and cleaned it up a little bit after having the sketch. This is the process of the cleanup from start to finish.
And the final file to make the blanket happen!

The size is actually pretty amazing and it came out with the most incredible quality. I'm so happy with it <3
We also did an editorial for it, and the photos turned out super good. Since the t-shirts that we made also came in size small, we used some tiny models to help us showcase them. And it was the best.
The editorial was so fun to do. I added some drawings on top of the photos which made them look extra cute, I think.
