3D printed knife block

3D printed knife block
My number one priority when designing this knife block was to keep the blades dry.

Long story short, I live in a hot and humid Asian country where it's not uncommon to battle armies of cockroaches daily in the kitchen.
After struggling to eradicate a particular infestation for weeks, I finally realized they were nesting in my wooden knife blocks, comfortably snuggled in the damp gaps between the blades and the wooden body of the block. Found and killed 25 of them right on the spot.

This knife block design provides plenty of air around the blades.
Problem solved.
Infestation gone.

The product size is: H25 x W20 x D23 cm.
It needs to be printed on the side, and requires a printing bed of diameter or length of at least 27cm (the length of the inclined front face). I printed this one using the desktop printer FLSUN 400.
