This magazine holder doubles as a coffee table.  It has been designed to create the illusion of chaos, achieving this with a form which explores irrational geometry.  To the eye, a question of stability is raised, when in  fact the object is structurally sound.  In addition, the form provides for positional variance, allowing the user to create options.
This project maintained a focus on manufacturing processes and outsourcing.  After the sheet was cut to  size it was bent at 90 degree angle at the appropriate location, then tac welded along the flange line.  The  object was complete when the separate units were tac welded at the joints to form the assembly.
