Heart of the Land is a book design for Nanticha (Lynn) Ocharoenchai, a climate activist and journalist, documenting the wisdom and knowledge of Thailand's indigenous group - Karen. The book follows Lynn's journey up north (Soblan Village, Chiang Mai Province of Thailand) to visit and learn from the Karen community, uncovering the truth behind their relationship with the land through practices of respect, cultivation, and nurturing. Additionally, it documents the struggles they face in protecting and preserving their land.
