Colds. Headaches. Cuts. Just some of the reasons people go to A&E when a non-emergency service will do. This puts a huge strain on resources. The NHS wanted to create a brand that helped people pick the right service at the right time. Our solution asks everyone to Choose well.

The name captures the importance of making the right choice, suggesting you’ll feel well as a result. Each coloured section of the brand identity represents an NHS service, showing the range on offer. Colour-coded materials for each individual service lead with symptoms of illness, helping people associate the way they are feeling with the most appropriate place to get treatment. 

Choose well has been adopted by 40 organisations and won the Marketing Magazine Design Awards.
