A-Postcards ("A" for activist) put a new spin on more traditional letter campaigns. The impetus is the same: to open a channel of communication with an institution. But the postcard, not enclosed in an envelope, offers extra chances to infiltrate mainstream consciousness about often-invisible sociopolitical issues. The content is potentially seen (intentionally or accidentally) by anybody who comes into contact with the cards. This new card is about the Genoa 2001 G8 – see also the video project la macelleria [italiana].
