Abstract
A circular grid hints at a timeless cosmos. Acrylic applied in bands hint at a created space, sunset colours on top, green ground colours at the horizon and water colours below there are echoes of creation in the visible colours. The spray paint as a nod to modern graffiti styles, they create celestial spatter and shooting star like elements outside that grid. The golds appear in both the contemporary touches - in a gold metallic fleck of the spray paint and in the gilded edges of the hundred year old carved wood frame that encases the canvas.
