My role was to work with this client for all materials and deliverables. The client was revamping their regular catalogs and point-of-purchase displays, and they were also launching a new line of classic candy made to old style recipes. For the point-of-purchase displays, we used their existing dielines, and I conceptualized some simple designs to showcase holiday lollipops. For the icing and candy catalogs, I first art directed the photo shoot for the icing and candy pieces, arranged and directed the cover photo for the main icing catalog. Then I conceptualized and designed through to production the catalogs themselves. Design by Tony Kemp, creative direction by Tony Kemp and Chris Shill.
For the Classic Candy line catalog, I arranged each shot and art directed the photo shoot, then I conceptualized a classic look and feel that still matched the Kencraft candy brand. I then designed through to production the catalog itself in a slightly different size format than the regular 8.5 x 11 catalogs. This catalog was so successful that orders had to be temporarily suspended so candy production could catch up with the orders since all of Kencraft candies are made by hand.
